can't open xword in dash; xword only runs in terminal

Dash cannot locate the xword 2 application. Workaround: Open a terminal and run xword-- this launches the xword application.

I have the same problem.. but, how do I open it in the terminal? What is the command?

The command at the terminal prompt is simply 'xword' (without quotes).
e.g.:
$ xword

Thank you..., but I still have a problem. Xword opens and loads the puzzle but when I type the letters into the puzzle, they do not appear, it acts like the keyboard is not working, however all the other controls on the keyboard work with the puzzle. Another question I have is How do I use 2 txt file posted above? I am STILL learning the commands and work arounds on Ubuntu. I appreacite all your help. Thank you again!
