Bug Description

Binary package hint: liferea

When starting liferea in a console, it gives this error:

ls: cannot access /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9*/libsqlite3.so.0: No such file or directory
dirname: missing operand
Try `dirname --help' for more information.

The first time you launch it, it just exits and that's it. Some process seems to continue, because in the terminal it doesn't return to the command prompt.
Hitting Ctrl+C to kill the process gives this message:

(liferea:8071): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_style_detach: assertion `style->attach_count > 0' failed

The second time and after liferea does launch, but the error messages remain.

No crash report was generated.
This is on an updated Hardy x86_64 installation.

Thanks, this is a known bug which will be fixed with the next Xulrunner upload.

The above error seems partially fixed by recent xulrunner upload, now liferea outputs the following in /.xsession-errors:

Traceback (most recent call last):
cant import cStringIO
<type 'exceptions.ImportError'>: /usr/lib/python2.5/lib-dynload/time.so: undefined symbol: PyExc_ValueError

(liferea:23208): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_style_detach: assertion `style->attach_count > 0' failed
Obtaining the module object from Python failed.

Using liferea 1.4.14-0ubuntu3 and xulrunner-1.9 1.9~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu1.

Adding a xulrunner-1.9 task, as launching liferea-bin (which is similar to launching liferea without LD_LIBRARY_PATH, which /usr/bin/liferea sets to /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9*) doesn't show this warning

liferea still spits out an error message during start, but seems to work okay. Should separate bug be opened?

$ liferea
Obtaining the module object from Python failed.

Traceback (most recent call last):
cant import cStringIO
<type 'exceptions.ImportError'>: /usr/lib/python2.5/lib-dynload/time.so: undefined symbol: PyExc_ValueError

Importing cStringIO from python console works fine though.
