Bug Description

Binary package hint: epiphany

Testcase: attached.
Expected result: testcase should open an alert dialog
Actual result: nothing happens.

Pop-up dialogs does not show in GNOME epiphany-browser 2.21.90.

If page needs to ask user with javascript with an pop-up dialog, whether it is a simple "OK/Cancel" or entry field dialog, the pop-up window just does not show.

I cannot delete pictures on flickr.com (it asks me "Are you sure?", but the question does not show), I cannot edit my feeds on Google Reader (it asks me for the name I wish to assign to a feed, but the window does not show), etc.

I launched firefox which gecko Epiphany uses, and the requestor pop-ups works fine there. So I guess it is a problem with Epiphany interface not with underlying gecko.

Try using some of the editing buttons on a WYSIWYG style editor on Wikipedia or the Ubuntu Forums.

1. On Google Reader please select one specific feed on the left sidebar.
2. Once the feed is open in right content pane, there is a "Feed settings..." dropdown beside "Extended view" pane.
3. Click "Feed settings...", then select "Rename subscription..."

4. The requestor should pop-up asking for the name you want to give to the feed.
   But it does not pop-up.

(The button names might not be exact - I have Polish interface enabled, and I'm translating them back to English.)

The "mark all as read" button in Google Reader doesn't work if you have more that 50 items unread (it should popup a dialogue).

Is there any update on this bug? I've had to revert to FF for productivity and I'd really rather not :)

Seems to work now.

I don't think this was Epiphany.
