Bug Description
My system started crashing at regular intervals (10 minutes to one hour) since this afternoon;
I'm not aware of running any updates, but I might have done an "aptitude safe-upgrade" anywhere in the past week. I'm fully up to date on Ubuntu 14.04.3 now.
The problems seem to exclusively occur when running Chrome (47) / Chromium (45) (I switched to that browser when the problem occurred a few times, but this didn't solve it), but this may also simply be a consequence of my browser being the most Graphics-heavy part of the system.
I'm running on a MacbookPro, inside Parallels; this was not a problem until this afternoon.

I've managed to find a path to reliably reproduce, ironically while attempting to provide further information:
In both Chrome & Chromium, selecting the above stacktrace, rightclicking and selecting "Copy" crashes X.
