dash shows no list of xterms on click

Bug Description
When having opened multiple xterms with at least one not being minimized, as expected clicking on the icon in the dash shows a listing of all present xterms. However, as soon as all xterms are minimized, clicking on the xterm icon in the dash has no more effect. As a workaround I have to start another xterm to be able to list and access the others again.
The same works well with multiple LibreOffice Writers for instance, so I assume it is an issue of xterm or xterm+unity.
I'm having this issue with Ubuntu 11.10.
