Bug Description

Since 2 January 2019 this link does not work anymore: http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/geoip/database/GeoIPCountryCSV.zip

See xt_geoip_dl

Support for GeoLite2 is available in version 3.1 (Ubuntu 18.10). Can this also be made available for Ubuntu 16.04/18.04

See also xt_geoip_dl and xt_geoip_build: https://sourceforge.net/p/xtables-addons/xtables-addons/ci/master/tree/geoip/

Thanks

I have the same problem with download.
I can download using scripts from 3.1, but resulting rules does not work with 3.0, shipped with ubuntu.
Rule can't be created, but it passes all traffic, no matter which country it is from.
iptables -I INPUT -m geoip ! --src-cc RU -j DROP
allows traffic from Japan...
although module built and running on Centos 7 works...

This requires 3.2, which is available (actually 3.8/3.9) since Ubuntu 20.04/focal.
