Bug Description

xserver-xorg-video-vmware (1:11.0.99.901-1) in Precise incorrectly sets the default resolution when used inside a kvm virtual machine. It defaults to 2048x1536 instead of 1024x768 as it was doing in Oneiric.

See the attached log files. One is from Oneiric, and is working properly. The other is from Precise.
