Bug Description

Hi,

On a Packard-Bell Easynote M1800 with as video:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. CN400/PM800/PM880/PN800/PN880 [S3 UniChrome Pro] (rev 02)

Noticed that, if using KDM, exiting KDE causes a "black screen" situation from which the only possible exit is by using the Evil Power Button.

If using GDM instead of KDM, no problemo, it rocks.
