Trident driver not loading on boot

Right, you're using edgers, which has a "newer" version of the package. Did you even install the package from my ppa before testing?

Sorry, I disabled the edgers PPA but forgot I needed to purge it.
I've now got your version installed as you can see.

xserver-xorg-video-trident:

I think we'd better have a new bug report about that, I've uploaded the patch to quantal now so this bug will close.
