Sorry actually I reported earlier in that linked but. But that remain inactive for so long. So thought of creating this in the more relevant place.

As for your PPA yes it worked. Thanks a lot for solving the issue. However some glitches in tag icon rendering remains. If it's useful to you I am including these screen shot here.

See the tray icon in picture. Icons besides network icon are bluetooth and battery, but they are not visible here. Earlier when I was using VESA drivers they are visible very fine.
