Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

IBM T22 has savage ix video chipset. I did a clean install of Feisty 7.04 beta from alternative cd. Install works perfectly but the laptop appears to hard lock on reboot with a black screen.
You cannot use alt-f keys to logon to a terminal session. I commented out the dri & glx lines of xorg.conf and the laptop boots correctly to GDM screen. These are the lines I commented out.

# Load "glx"

#Section "DRI"
# Mode 0666
#EndSection

Edgy works correctly on T22 laptop. Problem reproduced with live cd.

Thanks for the bug report. Can you please try to add:
Option "BusType" "PCI"
to the Device section of your xorg.conf? Of course, please revert your previous changes at the same time.
