Looks like your running with software rendering, not hardware-accelerated rendering, which is why performance is slow. Could you please include your system specs, graphics card spec, attach the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file and finally, could you please run `glxgears` from a terminal for about 30 secs, and paste the output here (it should output a framerate). Marking as incomplete until this info is received.
