Must select F4 then Select Safe Graphics

Bug Description

After Booting the Beta 8.04 LiveCD, I am forced to select F4 then select Safe Graphics mode. If I do not, I am presented with a screen full of Green vertical stripes with Gray flashing vertical strips interspersed. Then I'm forced to reboot because there is nothing readable on the screen.

This doesn't seem right because my system is pretty much vanilla: Nvidia G7300 GS graphics card and Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 MB.

Maybe make the default selection "Safe Graphics" . I also fought this in Gutsy. Seems to me I had to use the alternate CD for installation and ended up editing the xorg.conf many times.
