[ThinkPad T420s] nouveau driver does not provide 3D so no Unity without using proprietary drivers

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau

Installed Natty on a ThinkPad T420s in the cert lab with the nVidia chipset. By default, the nouveau driver is loaded and runs, but this does not include any 3D and thus, no Unity.

From a quick and non-thorough search on google, Nouveau should be able to provide 3D acceleration but apparently not everyone packages the extra bits necessary for this.
