Bug Description

Using Ubuntu 19.04, with the vanilla gnome interface

gnome-control-center: 1:3.32.1-1ubuntu4

xserver-xorg-video-nouveau: 1:1.0.16-1

nvidia-340: 340.107-0ubuntu3

I switched from the nvidia display driver to nouveau.

After rebooting the screen was low resolution. I attempted to open the gnome control center. It didn't open. I tried again from the command line with "gnome-control-center" and it crashed with an error message and a segmentation fault.

Error message from syslog

Reverting to the nvidia driver and rebooting fixes the issue.

However I do not see a crash of gnome shell, only the control center.
