Screen scintillation with Nvidia GPU and nouveau

Bug Description
When using my Quadro K620 with the nouveau driver, the screen scintillates. This is more perceptible on the SDDM login screen and when viewing the desktop background. This does not happen when driving the GPU with the closed NVIDIA driver.
