Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
I've upgraded to Natty a few days ago. Since that time, each boot ends with this messages:
[ 23.910681] render error detected, EIR: 0x00000010
[ 23.910689] IPEIR: 0x00000000
[ 23.910692] IPEHR: 0x00000000
[ 23.910694] INSTDONE: 0xfffffffe
[ 23.910697] INSTPS: 0x00000000
[ 23.910699] INSTDONE1: 0xffffffff
[ 23.910702] ACTHD: 0x00000000
[ 23.910705] page table error
[ 23.910707] PGTBL_ER: 0x00100000
[ 23.910711] [drm:i915_report_and_clear_eir] *ERROR* EIR stuck: 0x00000010, masking
System then starts and works correctly but very often DOSBox run in fullscreen after exiting locks up the desktop screen, switching to tty1 and back makes it show last shown tty1 contents - as if it lost the ability to refresh the screen. I don't know if it's the same issue, but it seems it might be.
I had such problems neither in Lucid nor in Maverick before.
