Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
When I used Maverick, graphics were mostly stable but there was a glitch with screen refreshes... sometimes I had to switch to another desktop and come back so that the screen would be rendered correctly. I supposed that natty would have improved over these problems so I updated today (through apt-get dist-upgrade). Unfortunately the graphics with desktop effects are in a word "terrible". I had to disable desktop effects in order to have a usable desktop. What I'm worried about now is that natty is almost out. If you are hacking heavily on the driver, maybe the problem will disappear with the coming updates, otherwise..... don't want to think of it.
I'm on a samsung N150 Plus netbook.

PS: I just remembered that the natty kernel doesn't want to boot after I dist-upgraded (apparently the root parameter is using the /dev/sda8 format and this kernel doesn't get it). I'll try to see if I can make it boot with uuid stuff and let you know what happens after I start the right kernel.... will let you think about it in the meanwhile.

After starting the right kernel, graphics are much much better.... so maybe this bug is not a real bug after all.
