Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

Started Heroes of Newerth. Went into options, changed output to HDMI1 and resolution to 1440x900. Click Apply. Freeze.

I was able to login via ssh, but when I killed the HoN process, the whole system locked and I had to hard reset.

Hmm, I thought 20090808ubuntu11 included the fix for this issue, although that was updated around the 29th, perhaps you didn't have this version installed at the time? Have you been seeing this lockup recently within the past couple days? If not, the new ia32-libs may have fixed it.
