description |
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
I installed the Karmic beta on my laptop, and performance is now very choppy. In particular, Gnome-Do's "Docky" and compiz effects are extremely choppy.
In Jaunty, I was able to fix this by adding 'Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy"' under the 'Device' section in xorg.conf. This no longer works in Karmic (as far as I can tell from google, this is because of the switch to UXA mode). Is there any UXA parallel to greedy MigrationHeuristics?
