Bug Description
Kubuntu 9.10 alpha 3.
Kubuntu + later installed Ubuntu.
After system start, KDM opens correctly the login screen. However, after the logout the screen stays in the text mode with some messages on it and no login screen shows up. One can change screen (Ctrl-Alt-1) and login to the text console.

Could you please attach a copy of /var/log/ Xorg.0. log.old and /var/Xorg.0.log after a failed log out and a reboot, along with the output of lspci -vvnn? Thanks.
