Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

KDE4 from both backports and experimental under 8.10 was fine, but since installing the 9.04 beta, Xorg uses a third of my CPU just sitting there.
I don't have firefox running. There isn't a system monitor in my panel. It's just Konsole and top (or uptime !).

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.6.3-0ubuntu2
ProcEnviron:
 LANGUAGE=
 PATH=(custom, user)
 LANG=en_US.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
ProcVersion: Linux version 2.6.28-11-generic (buildd@palmer) (gcc version 4.3.3 (Ubuntu 4.3.3-5ubuntu4) ) #38-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 27 09:00:52 UTC 2009
SourcePackage: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686

Changing to UXA as per http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1058915 brings the first 'uptime' number down to less than 0.10 - win ?
