Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

I updated to jaunty, and got a very large performance regression. KDE effects are now choppy and make working with effects almost unusable. Without effects there is a noticeable performance drop.

Also, using EXA acceleration causes some areas of the screen to be drawn incorrectly (artifacts). Using UXA fixes the artifacts, but does not improve performance.
