[SRU]
Impact: Affects users of Dell D400 systems, causing crashes when vt switching. This is a well known bug that is fixed on a per-pciid basis using quirks, and are very safe for backport candidates.
Addressed: A quirk was prepared and sent upstream for review. It was accepted with one correction and deployed in the -intel 2.3.0 release; current git tree shows the quirk still present.
Patch: Attached below.
Test Case: On a Dell Latitude D400, attempt to do vt switches, and this should produce an Xserver crash.
Regression Potential: None. Quirks have been proven to be very safe in backports, and since they only target a very specific chip even if they are incorrect (which has only happened once so far), they only affect users of that exact chip.
