Bug Description
When I resume from a suspend-to-ram, the screen flickers then 'bleeds'-
I get vertical streaks against a dark background that brightens as time passes.
The streaks appear to be stronger at the bottom than the top, giving the
illusion that it's bleeding from the bottom up.
This continues (doesn't get brighter after a point) until I hit CTRL-ALT-F1,
at which time the screen blanks. If I then hit CTRL-ALT-F7, the screen
wakes up (resumes the desktop) properly, and the system works
correctly from then on.
This happens most of the time that I try suspending. On some rare occasions
(~1% of the time) the system won't recover from a suspend at all, and just
hangs until I power off.
I have a Dell Latitude D620 Latitude with an intel I945GM video controller.
I'm running the intel driver from the 2:2.1.1-0ubuntu9 package.

When it exhibits the bleeding symptom, blank the screen as soon as possible, this condition isn't great for the LCD.
