Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
After upgrading to 2.2.0.90-2ubuntu2 this morning and restarting X, I noticed that pixmaps had a strange appearance - as though they were being rendered on a 16bit display (which xdpyinfo suggested wasn't the case).
For example, the green gear in glxgears appeared to be composed of alternating light and dark green pixels, instead of a solid area of the same tone.
Installing the previous 2.2.0+git20080107 version brings correct behaviour back.

Could you reverse-apply this patch (just wget "url"):
http:// gitweb. freedesktop. org/?p= xorg/driver/ xf86-video- intel.git; a=commitdiff_ plain;h= a70b59bd44d14e7 7c9e522dbe225b6 2a8bcf3050; hp=fa841fd05bde bb991f4e4db201e 6a260557e2dad
rename it, and run 'patch -R < patch' on the package source directory.
