xscreensaver hangs x on intel 915

Bug Description

On my Laptop with Intel 915 after xscreensaver engages it makes X session unworkable. Cursor starts to move in jumps, and minimizing any window is almost impossible. Screensaver sometimes won't run, sometimes it starts after many seconds of pressing close lid button.

Screensaver is set to blank.

I'm using Gusty 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Tue Dec 18 08:02:57 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

after closing screensaver xorg listet in top eats 50% of cpu time

it seems to be xserver-xorg-video-intel bug ; when driver is changed to i810 everything works fine
