Bug Description
When I resume from a long suspend in Xenial, I find that most of the letters do not display. I can copy and paste them into chat windows and people see them on the other side, but they do not show up visibly. The menu items for suspend/shut down/log out usually vanish as well, which makes it hard to find a good solution.
I find that killing my session manager restarts X and everything goes back to normal on next login.

Thank you for your bug report, that's more like an intel driver issue than a compiz bug, e.g similar to https:/ /bugs.freedeskt op.org/ show_bug. cgi?id= 88584
Does it happen after every resume?
