Bug Description

Hardware: Thinkpad X250 (Broadwell-U)
Software: Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid

Reproduce steps:
Use mplayer plays mp4 clip. Green dot shows up.

BTW, totem can play very good.
libreoffice has this issue with a slides embedded video clip. Seems libreoffice use same way with mplayer instead of totem.
