Bug Description

Only way to get it back is reboot.

If I switch to another VT and run "xinit -- :1" I have a mouse on that X server but still no on the original one.

Also since xinit only starts a single xterm and when I type in that xterm the mouse pointer gets invisible until I move the mouse my guess is that the "mouse is always invisible" is a problem with the X server and not with say unity.

I have a mac book pro using only the intel driver.

Is there any command I can use to force the pointer to be visible again ?? this has happened several times now and is starting to be a real problem.
