Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
I did a clean install of Kubuntu Gutsy (Tribe 3) and it installed, and my X server was working, but it was with the vesa driver. I manually changed this to the intel driver in the xorg.conf file, and my display DPI was excessively high, to the point where my display was unusable. Inside KDE 3, I was able to fix the problem by forcing the fonts to render at 96 DPI, but this doesn't fix the login, nor does it fix my problem when I'm running KDE 4 for dev work. As I'm on a 1280x800 display, this is a serious annoyance when trying to work, and I've fallen back to using the vesa driver for now.
I'll submit a screenshot of the login screen with the -intel driver, as soon as I figure out how to take a screenshot of the KDM login screen, for reference.
Submitted is my xorg.conf file, and if anything else is needed, please let me know.

This is still the case with Kubuntu RC iso testing.
