Bug Description

When the screen goes off because the system is idle, it does not resume back, it just stays black. Only way of getting the system back is restarting lightdm and logging in again.

Hi Walter -

I take it that switching to another VT, then coming back, doesn't get you a normal display. In that case it's bug 966744. If that was enough to restore it, then I would say it's bug 1055987. Thanks!
