Bug Description
Since upgrading to Quantal, my Thinkpad T510 will not come out of the screensaver blank screen.
I'm not sure if it's related to dpms or not, as I can't reproduce this by locking the screen manually for a few seconds, or by turning dpms on and off from the command line. It only happens when I leave my laptop and the screensaver comes up by itself, moving the mouse seems to turn the backlight back on, and I can see the mouse cursor, but the screen stays black, even if I try manually killing the screensaver process.

That sounds like bug 966744. It can occur under Precise, but seems to appear more under Quantal. Thanks.
