This error typically occurs on my MacBook 2,1 at boot or when waking from sleep. Mouse or keyboard function is not affected and the machine functions perfectly.

I always get the same message after a reboot of my system. (macbook 2,1), but don't have any problem at all (as far as I know)

Also get this message on startup on a Macbook 2,1, although everything appears to function normally. I would really just like to be able to suppress the error message.

I have exactly the same problem with exactly the same HW (Macbook 2,1). It happened with 12.04 and it's happening now with 12.10. This messages go haywire after trying to hibernate the system, which is always unsuccessful.

So far I didn't experience any problems other than some occasional instability and the fact that hibernation is not possible.

Mike Hotho, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-video-intel REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.
