Intel GPU hung and screen freeze when testing an OpenGL program

I am doing some graphics development in Ubuntu 12.04 and I came across this bug today. I am just drawing a simple open gl program for drawing a quadrilateral. There are no issues when I am running the same program in different machine which uses an ATI radeon graphics card.

I am using Ubuntu 12.04

Using the 2:2.17.0-1ubuntu4 version of the xserver package.
My dmesg is showing the following messages everytime the freeze occurs

Update: I upgraded to kernel 3.5.0 and this bug has been fixed.

Please enable precise-proposed, and upgrade the kernel (-26). Does it still hang with that one?

I cannot do any testing for the next two weeks as I just got this working on the 3.5.0 kernel.

Closing the bug, please reopen if you can verify that the current precise kernel still hangs. And if you can ssh in the machine, please collect /sys/kernel/debug/drm/0/i915_error_state and attach here.
