extra HDMI display on laptop HP 4310S : slow mouse

Bug Description

On my laptop HP 4310S, when I connect an extra HDMI display, after a while (minutes), the mouse and keyboard respond very slowly.
The 2 displays are one above the other.

I have no special settings on X11 .

When I disconnect the HDMI screen, the problem stops at once.

This bug is old, about one year ( since then I used a double boot with Debian ).
But I kept checking Ubuntu from time to time.
