Running 32 bit software in 64 bit 12.04.2 with quantal xorg+kernel doesn't work with i965

Running 32 bit software which uses OpenGL doesn't work anymore after updating to quantal kernel+xorg in Ubuntu 12.04.2 64 bit. 64 Bit software work fine. Seems to be a problem with the i965 driver.

The used Ubuntu version is no longer supported, can you check if the problem is still reproducible on a newer Ubuntu?
