Try first to remove your .drirc file.

What FPS do you get if you run:
 /usr/lib/xscreensaver/glblur -fps

Please run this and attach the resulting glxinfo.txt file:
 LIBGL_DEBUG=1 glxinfo > glxinfo.txt 2>&1
