Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
I attempted to create a default xorg.conf file by running "sudo dexconf".
This ran with no messages, did not create the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file like it is supposed to, and it returned an error code of 10.
"man dexconf" implies that the only possible return codes are 0 and 1.
Sequence of events:
$ sudo dexconf
$ echo $?
10
$ ls /etc/X11/xorg.conf
ls: cannot access /etc/X11/xorg.conf: No such file or directory
$
I also tried "sudo dexconf -o test.conf" with the same results: no file created and a return code of 10.
Oddly when I did not use sudo I did get an error message: "debconf: DbDriver "passwords" warning: could not open /var/cache/
