Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
In openGL mode some applets but not all from Cairo Dock 2.1.4 to 2.2.0 Beta in Lucid 10.04 LTS are rendered with 100% transparency thus making them invisible.
Apps affected are e.g. musicPlayer, dustbin, switcher, system monitor. Clock or weathe applet are rendered as shoud. In addition some icons may becom transparent when attqached to the dock. This can be fxed by reloading the icon theme.
Developers of Cairo Dock say this is a known bug with some ATI cards http://www.glx-dock.org/bg_topic.php?t=4409&pos=0#mess_56968 an should be reported to the driver developers.
