Bug Description

After upgrade from Karmic mouse cursor does not show after startup, but when I open gnome-terminal and start typing, cursor suddenly appears.

I just figured out, that it also happens when I change resolution, or when I change screen rotation. Cursor appears, when I start write something to terminal(or gedit, it does not work with OpenOffice writer). I provide apport informations about xserver-xorg-video-ati.

This is not happen, when KMS is disabled(please see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/531372)
