Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
I just upgraded to Karmic.
As with Jaunty, I use the setting "No visual effects".
Starting system monitor yields a fairly stable pattern, with no borders.
Setting visual effects to normal bypasses the problem (of course at a performance lowering).
It is a regression problem in the upgrade.
I was able to grab the window using screenshot (and attached the result)
