Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
I've recently upgraded to the Jaunty beta, and I have a Thinkpad T60 with ATI X1400 video card. I sometimes get drawing glitches when switching from one window to another, occuring most often with toolbar icons. These can usually be fixed by hovering over the area of the glitch, although sometimes a "halo" of glitch remains.
Since I haven't heard reports of this being common with KDE 4.2, I presume it must have something to do with the driver. Desktop effects are OFF (due to bug 334066).
This was not a problem under Intrepid.
Two screenshots attached.

I added some other info in bug #354603---while I tried searching for this bug report, it wasn't able to find it (database updates infrequently??). So I wasn't able to link it to this bug report, sorry.
