Comment 67 for bug 351990

The new mesa packages ubuntu 3.1 for jaunty seem to introduce some sort of input lag on my system when compositing is activated.

It can be reproduced with the following:

open kpackage
search for "kde"
move with the mouse ober the results

Usually the option underneath the mouse gets highlighted pretty much immediately.
With the mesa packages it takes over a second and sometimes more.

Furthermore it can be seen while browsing with firefox, the mous needs some time to change from mouse pointer to "hyperlink click"..very annoying delay....

If someone can confirm this behaviour I would report it as a bug to the correspnding mesa release.
