I can confirm that this bug happens often when I am using Kopete Chat Windows. But I was not able yet to create a step-by-step reproduction of this freeze.

Is anyone able to give such instructions for reproducing this bug?

I would like to help by debugging with gdb, but if I cannot reproduce it, I cannot debug it... This bug only seems to happen when im not "looking" :D

Any ideas in which function this happens? Or any ideas for breakpoints? I am not so familiar with debugging C/C++ stuff but I would like to get into it.

For the record: I am using Kubuntu Jaunty with standard repositories (jaunty-proposed not enabled), Radeon X1300 Mobile, AccelMethod "XAA", Dual-Head Environment
