Bug Description

I use the free ati driver on a rotated screen 1050x1400. When I adapt the subpixel order to VRBG, text in Qt 4 applications like VirtualBox or SMPlayer gets garbled and completely unreadable. I attach some screenshots to demonstrate the problem.

Maybe this should be filed against gnome-control-center, but I can't change the package.

Thanks, did you try out all the four subpixel order options?

RGB and BGR are ok, only VRGB and VBGR give the error. This is reproducible all the time.

If this only affects QT 4 applications, I am not sure if this is a bug in the -ati driver or the qt4 libraries. I'll add a qt4 task to the bug report, maybe some qt4 experts have a clue.
