Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
Hi,
I've just upgraded to intrepid from hardy, and my previously working HD3870/Dell 1905FP/radeon driver now fails with a blank screen. GDM is still starting (start sound & checked process list from text tty), vesa driver works.
Current xserver-
Attached Xorg.0.log.old from the failed startup.
Attached lspci -vvnn showing hardware details.
Maybe related to https:/
Maybe invalid refresh rates/modeline issue?
I will try starting with DRI disabled and report behaviour.

Disabling DRI using: Option "DRI" "off" in the Device section made no difference (as expected since there is no DRI support for my chipset yet).
Note that the Option "MonitorLayout" "TDMS, HDMI" line in my uploaded xorg.conf was not present when the failure occurred, I had just tried that as a possible fix (without success).
