Bug Description
Watching videos using the xvideo extension (e.g. mplayer -vo xv) produces lots of on-screen artifacts, making it unusable. A workaround is to add the following to the "Device" section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf:
Option "DMAForXV" "off"
Though I suspect this results in worse performance.

Forgot to mention that I'm running Intrepid alpha 5 (xserver- xorg-video- radeon 6.9.0+git200808 26.a3cc1d7a- 2ubuntu1) .
