Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

Change to a virtual terminal and then back to X ie. Ctrl + Alt + F1 then Ctrl + Alt + F7 causes a crash with nothing displayed on the screen at all. System is totally unresponsive, sysreq doesn't work either. This is on a fresh install of 7.10, I tried reinstalling 7.04 to check that its not hardware and that ran fine.
