Bug Description

I was running Utopic and when I came in this morning my monitors wouldn't come out of power-save mode. I logged in remotely and rebooted the system. The monitors now work but they are both displaying the same content (mirroring) while they were spanning before. I have now upgraded to vivid but it hasn't resolved the issue.

I have installed Trusty Tahr and switched from using displayPort only to using displayPort and DVI. That seems to have resolved the issue.

Stephen Rasku, using kernel series 3.13 with Vivid is not supported. If this is reproducible in a supported configuration, please file a new report.
